A Mother's Personal Walk

Through Grief

(Ways to deal with the death of a child.)

If you have had a child die or know of somebody that has a child die, then this book may help you in your/their grieving. Jo-Ann had not one child die, but two children die decades apart. Jo-Ann shares her journey with you. She also shares how you can honor the life of your child--no matter how brief their life may have been. There are also resources listed which may help you in your journey. When this happens to somebody we care for, we are at a loss of words on what to do. Sometimes we just don't do anything. The grieving mother and father need us to let them cry and talk about their son or daughter--especially 3-6 months after the event happened that took their child's life.  Available in regular print, large print, and Kindle.

Beloved Pet Grief Guide and Journal: How to honor the memories of your pet

It’s different when a beloved pet passes on. Rarely can you take sick time to grief your loss. Non-pet lovers just “don’t get it” when our heart is broken when our pet dies or has to be put to sleep. It’s hard. It’s painful. I should know. Within two weeks of each other, two elderly cats had to be put to sleep. I was crying in the vet’s office; my heart was smashed into thousands of grieving pieces. Even though our head can appreciate that their suffering has ended, it’s our heart that is taking a hit. We miss them. We miss their little enduring quirks. They loved us unconditionally and, often their passing is more painful for us than when loved ones pass on to the spiritual world. In this healing guide I will share with you some ideas about grief. I will also share with you ways that you can honor the life of your departed and beloved pet. There’s journal space for you to jot down thoughts about your beloved pet. It can be stories, poems, or whatever it is that is important to you when you think about your beloved pet. Near the end of the book, are some suggested resources that might help you through with your grief process.
